Ara Galarza
Managing Principal
Ara Galarza builds and runs AI platforms in production, in regulated and high-scale environments.
She led data, AI, and subscription platform architecture at SiriusXM and Pandora, contributing to systems supporting tens of millions of subscribers across an $8B ecosystem. Most recently, she led AI platforms and infrastructure at a regulated digital pharmacy, designing production multi-agent systems, PHI-safe dual-cloud architecture, and communications infrastructure across patient engagement and revenue operations.
Before Mast Labs, Ara founded and operated a culinary SaaS marketplace, building the platform and running the business firsthand.
She founded Mast Labs to do this work on her own terms, with the organizations that understand why the foundation matters. She built it while recovering from a serious accident, managing chronic pain, uncertainty, and rebuilding simultaneously.

Why Mast exists
On a sailboat, everything depends on the mast.
